I woke up today thinking something needs to change in my blog world. I'm not totally sure how all the pieces will fit yet but I definitely want to do something different here. For starters, I'm not sure if I will continue with all THREE of my blogs...and just go back to the one.
When I decided to get the other two blogs a couple of years ago I did so because I was moving back east and I felt it warranted another venue. Things have since changed and I find myself struggling to keep that particular blog going. My creative blog I do still enjoy and I will either revamp it totally or merge it back into the one blog.
This blog may see a bit of an overhaul as well. I am contemplating a domain name change. When I first began blogging in December, 2005 I was a total newbie to blogging and just used my name. I no longer want my name as a domain anymore. I will figure all of that out and will fill you in on the new domain name shortly plus give you plenty of time to write it down before I change it...if you are still interested in following me, which I hope you are.
I'm torn on the other two blogs. I love having three and it gives me so many options and space to share my thoughts but I am finding that keeping up with all three is sometimes overwhelming. If I brought it back down to one I could update on a more consistent, daily basis.
Meanwhile, I changed the design around a little bit and I'm sure that will probably change again shortly too.
My goal now is to keep my life in focus, keep it streamlined and simple and this change falls neatly into my future plans.
