So far I really like this daily little list of things to do. I don't feel overwhelmed and at the end of the week I feel pretty good about tackling all those pesky tasks that otherwise do their best to make mountains out of themselves.
Each morning I sort of wait until inspiration strikes and which direction to take. I don't plan out (shocker) what I will do each day because I let my energy level and sheer desire dictate. And that seems to be working.
This week I took one "task" every day and just got it done.
Here is my list of what I crossed off my summer list:
1. Sweep and mop.
2. Weed rock beds in backyard (I was only going to do one section but the weather was so nice this past weekend I did the whole yard. Besides, because I have been ON TOP of weeds from day one, the yard is not a mess!)
3. Upload photos to Snapfish. (My list indicated "one month" but I just sat in here and managed, over a few days, to get ALL my photos uploaded TO DATE!)
4. Clean out place-mat drawer. (I not only cleaned the drawer but I washed EVERY SINGLE place-mat.)
5. Clean out the "junk" drawer in the laundry room. (Grabbed the trash can and threw a bunch of CRAP away! Love doing that. This drawer did not set out to be the designated "junk" drawer but its placement seems to warrant, um, junk, so junk it is.)
6. Sort shoes in the laundry room. (We put all the boots either away or in the donation box...sorted all the shoes they will wear over summer and got rid of the ones that no longer fit.)
7. Sketch layouts. (The list indicated to sketch a month but I sat in here on a quiet Saturday and sketched eight months of photos that I had recently ordered to work on this summer!)
