Two Peas

Yesterday I found myself surfing around on some old websites and stumbled onto a blog that featured an ad for Two Peas (In A Bucket? Honestly, I don't remember and am not sure if that is right) and it made me wonder, "are they still around?" I guess considering there was an ad should have answered that question.  (Perhaps I am just slow.)

I wonder if they have the same "awe factor" that they once did a decade ago?  I remember the amazing and over-the-top hype to become one of their design team members (I think they have a clever name too but I cannot recall).  In fact, I had an acquaintance (a friend of a friend) down in San Diego who wanted nothing more than to be on the Two Peas design team (and she did make it several years ago but whether she is still on the team, I have no idea).  Is the design team even still coveted?

I also remember (back in the day, God I'm old because I catch myself saying that at least once a day) that posting your layouts used to be the "thing to do" and would possibly, just quite possibly, get you "noticed" and published and asked to design for the latest and greatest scrapbook company.  Does this even happen anymore?

Are the boards still super "powerful"?  I don't think I have clicked on Two Peas in years and years and years.

I may be slowly dabbling back into the craft/hobby I once really enjoyed (and I do still) but I have absolutely zero desire to put my toes back in any of "those" waters.
